The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is an Indian e-learning platform for university-level science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects. NPTEL is the largest e-repository in the world of course in engineering, basic sciences and selected humanities and management subjects. SWAYAM (meaning ‘Self’ in Sanskrit) is an acronym that stands for “Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds. SWAYAM operates MOOCs learning resources in different ways and structures. All courses credits can also be transferred to other educations institution or the Academic Bank Credits under UGC guidelines. In March, 2014, NPTEL began offering courses along with in-center and proctored certification examinations. These NPTEL Online Certificate (NOC) courses are offered twice a year (Jan-Jun S, Jul-Dec)

Our Karnataka Sangha’s Manjunatha College of Commerce, is registered as NPTEL Local Chapter (LC ID: 6711) since August 2024. Under this NPTEL SWAYAM, we are registering many students and faculty for various courses and Examinations which will be helpful in continuous learning.

Instructions for Course Enrolment:
1. Visit the NPTEL course portal https://nptel.ac.in/
2. Choose the course you want to enrol.
3. All registrants have to use their email id while filling their profile.
4. While filling the Profile, tick ‘Yes ‘ in Are you a part of an NPTEL local chapter and choose our College ID (6711) correctly from the drop down menu.
